Repair or replace

When replacing is the cheaper answer.

We quote the repair and the replacement side by side, so you can see the numbers yourself. These are the cases where the new system usually wins.

  • It is 15 years old or moreMost gas furnaces in Utah County run 15 to 20 years. Past that, you are paying to repair parts that are next in line to fail.
  • The repair is a big oneA cracked heat exchanger, a failed compressor, or an inducer motor on an old unit. Money spent there is money not spent on a system with a new warranty.
  • Your AC still runs on R-22Systems from before 2010 often use R-22 refrigerant, which is no longer produced. A leak on one of those gets expensive fast.
  • The power and gas bills keep climbingAn old 80 percent furnace sends a fifth of your gas up the flue. New high efficiency units keep far more of it in the house.
  • Some rooms never get comfortableOften the old unit was the wrong size from day one. A new system sized with a load calculation fixes what a repair cannot.
  • You have had two repairs in two yearsThat pattern rarely stops at two.

Two ways to pay monthly

Own it, or lease it with upkeep included.

Both start with a soft credit check that does not affect your score. We show you both options side by side at the quote, so you can pick the one that fits.

Finance it

Monthly payments, and you own the system.

One short application goes out to a network of home improvement lenders at once, so a no from one bank is not the end of the road.

  • Soft pull to see your offers
  • Lenders across the credit range, good credit to thin files
  • Promotional rate plans for qualifying buyers
  • Decision usually comes back in minutes

Best if you plan to stay in the house, or you only need the furnace or the AC replaced, not both.

Comfort Plan lease

A fixed monthly payment, with repairs and maintenance covered.

You get a complete new system without buying it. Parts, labor, and yearly maintenance are part of the plan for the whole term. The lease covers full system replacements, furnace and AC or heat pump together.

  • Soft pull, with no debt-to-income test
  • Repairs covered for the life of the lease
  • Yearly tune-up included
  • Major brands like Carrier, Trane, Rheem, and Goodman

Best if you want one predictable payment and never want another surprise repair bill.

Financing and leases are provided by third parties, not by Yeti Heating and Air. Approval, rates, payments, and terms are set by the provider and depend on credit and the system chosen. Lease plans are offered through Palmetto. We give you the full terms in writing before anything is signed.

Utility rebates

Part of the cost comes back to you.

Rocky Mountain Power and Enbridge Gas both pay rebates on qualifying new equipment, and they stack. We check which utilities serve your address and build the rebates into your quote.

Rocky Mountain Power rebates need a Rocky Mountain Power account. Provo, Lehi, Springville, Spanish Fork, Payson, and Salem run their own city power, so homes there qualify for the Enbridge Gas furnace rebate only. Utilities change rebate amounts on short notice. We confirm the live numbers before you sign.

Dual fuel install

A heat pump for most of the year and a high efficiency gas furnace for deep cold. It is the combination most Utah County homes qualify for.

How it works

From quote to warm house.

1

We come look

We measure the house and check the ductwork, the gas line, and the electrical. The visit is free.

2

You get options in writing

Two or three systems at different price points, with rebates and monthly payment options on each.

3

Pick how to pay

Finance it, lease it, or pay in full. Checking the monthly options will not touch your credit score.

4

We install and clean up

Most straight swaps are done in a day. We haul the old unit away and walk you through the new thermostat.

Common questions

Before you get a quote.

What does a new furnace or AC cost?

It depends on the size of the house, the efficiency you choose, and whether the ductwork or gas line needs changes. That is why we look before we quote. You get the full price in writing, with rebates and monthly options listed, and the visit is free.

Will checking financing hurt my credit?

No. Both the finance offers and the lease start with a soft credit check, which does not affect your score. A full credit check only happens if you choose an offer and go ahead with it.

What is the difference between financing and the lease?

With financing you own the system from day one and repay a loan. With the Comfort Plan lease you make a fixed monthly payment and repairs and yearly maintenance are covered for the term. We show both on your quote so you can compare them directly.

My system still runs. Should I wait for it to die?

You can, but replacing on your own schedule usually costs less than replacing in an emergency in January. You get time to compare options, pick equipment, and line up rebates. If a repair still makes sense, we will tell you.

How long does the install take?

Most straight furnace or AC swaps take one day. A full system with new ductwork or a switch to dual fuel can take two. We give you the schedule with the quote.

Which areas do you cover?

All of Utah County, from Lehi, Alpine, and Saratoga Springs down through Provo, Spanish Fork, and Payson to Santaquin.

See your options before winter hits.

The replacement quote is free, and checking monthly payment options will not touch your credit.
